Campylobacter on blood agar.

colonies are translucent and moist in appearance.


Campylobacter on CCDA.

On CCDA colonies are grey/white or creamy grey in colour and moist in appearance.

They may appear as a layer of growth over the surface of the agar (like oil spill) - not seen on this picture.
